6 Reasons to Simplify Your Life With Tasty Baked Chicken Recipes
Lately I’ve been looking around for healthy, easy-to-fix recipes for my family so that we can stay away from high-calorie, high-carb fast food.
My goal is to make meals that are nutritious and inexpensive, don’t require too much time in the kitchen, are tasty, and most importantly, that the kids will like!
Chicken recipes have turned out to be the most successful for our family, especially dishes made with baked chicken.
You may wonder why such an old concept as baked chicken is so popular with my family?
1. These recipes for baked chicken use all natural ingredients, so they are healthy and nutritious.
A low cholesterol meat, chicken is high in protein which means it is more filling. And baking the chicken is much healther than breading and frying it.
Because chicken is so versatile, it’s encouraged us to experiment with different ingredients and the variety of vegetables and pulses we eat has increased as a result.
2. Baked chicken recipes are quick and easy.
All of the baked chicken recipes we’ve tried can be made quickly, which is a huge help when you have to make dinner after a long day at work. In these recipes the ingredients are just baked together, so you can toss everything into a pot and let it cook.
This allows you to be lazy and efficient at the same time!
3. Baked chicken recipes can be altered in many ways — and always taste good.
Our youngest daughter is especially picky about what she eats, which is something we have to take into consideration when we prepare meals. Of course, we don’t want to make different meals for her unless we absolutely have to.
Baked chicked recipes are enjoyed by everyone in the family, and so they are perfect for us. Every recipe we have made so far has been delicious and enjoyable, pleasing for the entire family. Even my picky daughter enjoys the baked chicken recipes.
4. Baked chicken recipes are also incredibly easy to make.
The recipes we used have all been quite simple, even for beginning cooks like us. In fact, I’ve been surprised at how easy it has been!
It’s not only the ‘one pot’ cooking approach that helps but it’s easy to find chicken already prepared when buying it, so there’s no need to spend time dicing or slicing, it’s already done for you.
Even an inexperienced cook like me can follow the recipes with ease and produce impressive results.
5. Baked chicken recipes don’t cost the earth.
Our family is on a tight budget these days, so it’s necessary to keep our grocery bills as low as we can.
Chicken is one of the less expensive meats available. Fresh seasonable vegetables are also cheaper than paying for tiny microwave meals that don’t fill you up.
6. Baked chicken recipes are even popular with kids.
We’ve been amazed to see our kids dig into all the baked chicken meals we’ve been having. Our eldest wants certain dishes over and over again, and is disappointed when we tell him we can’t eat the same thing for dinner every night!
I would never have believed that the whole family could eat the same meal (that isn’t take-away) and everyone enjoy it.
Baked chicken recipes are truly the best way to make a transition to healthier eating for your family that will also save you money. Don’t wait another day to try these amazing dishes, you’ll be amazed as well.
