Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using The Recipe Hub mobile application or website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and The Recipe Hub. We recommend you read them carefully and save a copy for your records.

About The Recipe Hub
The Recipe Hub is an Australian platform that provides users with access to micronutrient-friendly recipes, meal planning tools, meal tracking, and grocery list features through a mobile application available on iOS and Android, and through our website.

Accounts & Access
Creating an Account
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use The Recipe Hub.
To access the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address. Your account is secured through our authentication system (Auth0). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Existing Subscribers
If you were a subscriber prior to our app launch, your account has been automatically created using your Stripe subscription details. To access the app for the first time, you must use the “Forgot Password” function on the login screen and enter the email address linked to your original subscription.
Account Security
You must notify us immediately at support@therecipehub.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your login credentials.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating or updating your account. Using false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Subscription Plans & Billing
Subscription Access
Access to premium features of The Recipe Hub — including the full recipe library, meal tracking, and grocery list tools — requires an active paid subscription.
Subscription Options
Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis and can be purchased through:
- Apple App Store — billed through your Apple ID.
- Google Play Store — billed through your Google account.
- Stripe (web) — billed via credit or debit card on our website.
Billing & Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise The Recipe Hub (or the relevant platform — Apple, Google, or Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.
Prices are displayed at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.
Subscription Status
- Active: Full access to all content and features.
- Cancelled within paid period: Full access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- Expired or cancelled: Access is restricted; you may re-subscribe in the app.
- Payment past due: Access is restricted until the outstanding payment is resolved.
Free Trials
Where a free trial is offered, access to premium features is provided at no charge for the specified trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial expires.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
To cancel your subscription:
- Apple App Store: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → The Recipe Hub → Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → The Recipe Hub → Cancel Subscription.
- Stripe (web): Contact us at support@therecipehub.com and we will process your cancellation promptly.
Refunds
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to those platforms’ respective refund policies. The Recipe Hub does not control refund decisions for platform purchases.
For web subscriptions processed through Stripe, refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support@therecipehub.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe you have been incorrectly billed. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Acceptable Use
By using The Recipe Hub, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another user’s account.
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
- Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems or infrastructure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these conditions.

Content & Intellectual Property
Our Content
You may not copy, reproduce, resell, share, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit any recipes, meal plans, content, or materials from The Recipe Hub without our prior written permission.
All content provided through The Recipe Hub — including recipes, meal plans, nutritional information, images, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to The Recipe Hub and is protected by Australian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
Your Content
Any personal data you enter (such as meal logs, dietary preferences, or grocery lists) remains yours. By entering this data, you grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback about the Service, you grant us the right to use that feedback without any obligation to compensate you.

Important: The Recipe Hub is not a medical service. Content provided in the app is for general informational and inspirational purposes only.
The recipes, nutritional information, meal plans, and dietary content available through The Recipe Hub are provided for general guidance and inspiration. They do not constitute medical advice, dietary advice, or a substitute for professional health or nutrition consultation.
If you have a specific health condition, allergy, medical dietary requirement, or concern about your nutrition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making changes to your diet based on content from the app.
The Recipe Hub makes no representation that any recipe or meal plan is appropriate for any individual’s particular health circumstances.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Service Availability
We strive to keep The Recipe Hub available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates, or fixes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss arising from service downtime or interruptions.
Accuracy of Content
We take care to ensure our recipes and nutritional information are accurate, but we make no warranties as to the completeness or accuracy of the content. Nutritional values are estimates and may vary based on ingredients, preparation, and serving size.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Recipe Hub’s total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to health arising from reliance on content in the app.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition that is implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law where it would be unlawful to do so.

Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time if you:
- Breach these Terms and Conditions.
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
- Fail to pay subscription fees.
You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@therecipehub.com. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and any unused portion of a prepaid subscription period is non-refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at support@therecipehub.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
