Different Types Of Vegetarian Chili Recipe

The basic recipe includes 3 tbsps of olive oil, 8 garlic cloves, 2 19 oz cans of red kidney beans, 2 19 oz cans of dark red kidney beans, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1 envelope taco seasoning, spoon dried oregano, spoon dried thyme, 1 15 oz can tomato sauce, 3 cups vegetable broth and 1 6 oz can of tomato paste.

You have to heat the oil in a heavy saucepan and once the oil is hot, add garlic and onions. Saute for few minutes till onion turns translucent and then add beans, basil, taco seasoning, thyme and oregano. Stir for couple of minutes again and now add tomato sauce and vegetable broth. Simmer till it thickens and you get the desired consistency. Keep stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Lastly, season with salt and pepper to taste. It tastes best when it is eaten fresh but you can refrigerate until cool and then heat it again over low heat when it has to serve.

Another type of vegetarian chili recipe uses 400 gr diced tomatoes, 2 vegetarian bouillon cubes, 3 tbs flour mixed with 400 ml of cold water, cacao 85% 20 gr and cooking oil. Heat the oil and add 5 crushed dried Chipotle peppers, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 crushed dried Pasillo pepper, 1 crushed dried Ancho peppers, 500 gr ground vegetarian, 3 medium diced onions, pinch of cumin and coriander and 300 ml beer. Now simmer and give boil stirring occasionally.
