The Growing Number of Italian Cooking Schools

The joy of being able to attend authentic Italian cooking schools!  There are many excellent courses available, right here in America, for those wishing to truly learn the art of Italian cooking.  Creative cooking schools such as the Institute of Culinary Education in New York are enjoying a new surge of eager students, ready to learn all they possibly can about American, French and Italian cooking.  School president, Richard Smilow, says his classes have shown a substantial increase each year for the past five years.  Further, he expects this trend to continue.

Many first dates are now being planned as cooking dates.  It’s a surefire way to a man’s heart, after all.  And too, it’s far more affordable in a tight economy.  Many of these new trends, including Italian cooking schools, are available as weekend ventures.  Far more convenient than traditional methods, these new weekend efforts are producing some pretty amazing novice chefs.  There are few things more rewarding or fun a couple can do on a long weekend than to learn the art of cooking together.

Italian Cooking Methods – Easy and Scrumptious

With so many great Italian cooking schools right here in America, it’s easy to incorporate Italian cooking into everyday meals.  Whether you want the know-how to create seven course meals or are just looking for some great tips to improve the skills you already have, there’s a great course available.  In fact, there are many Italian cooking schools that offer two, three or more day courses.  The Institute of Culinary Education boasts nine locations across the country.  You can choose from a number of classes, including bread making, cake decorating, sauces, pastries and a number of other unique areas.  

And if you’re wondering how affordable these schools are, rest assured they’re within most of our budgets.  Most four day courses can be had for less than five hundred dollars.  The short classes can be booked usually for less than three hundred dollars.  There are even early booking discounts or group discounts as additional incentives.  And if you have a special someone, why not make it a complete romantic getaway as you learn to create great dishes together?    

Remember, though, your first intent is to have fun.  You want to pick up these great recipes and ideas, but if you’re not having fun, you’re not getting the full experience from any of these courses by attending an Italian cooking and baking school.  The resources are out there and available for the taking.  It’s up to us to put those resources to good use.
